COLLECTION 2022

Inspired by Piccadilly Circus, London, the collection is a mix of surrealistic theme and pop-art dynamics, depicting the vibrancy and crowds of the central area. Each illustrated artwork is created as a wearable graphic piece (the sweatshirts) on any other ones. The artworks feature iconic London elements: train ticket, tube signs, representing the lifestyle and culture of Central London.

THE STORY

The notion behind PICCADILLY 2022 is to create a vibrant illusion between the people and the iconic central area of London - Piccadilly Circus, a typical metropolitan tourist attraction spot known for its diverse demographics - the mixed of people of different backgrounds, classes, dressed in different styles of fashion, commercial billboards, traffic, etc….all seem visually interactive. The motion of the city blurs the identity of individuals, sweeping all the tangible elements away in a flash.

PICCADILLY THEME: W1

Inspired by Pablo Picasso’s Guernica (1937), the theme illustration of the collection depicts the busy environment of Piccadilly Circus with different kinds of people such as the working-class with briefcases, businessmen/women, tourists, street buskers, etc.. Mobile phones represent this central part of London as an attraction spot for taking pictures and selfies. Money on the floor represents the commercial energy of the area surrounded by shops, high streets, restaurants and bars.
